"Backyard Brawl" Memorial Weekend Tourney 10'
May 29th,30th and 31st
This is the 2nd Annual Backyard Brawl. Middletown Little League and The Sandlot Baseball Academy have teamed up to run a top rated tourney in the Central Jersey Area.
Age groups will be 9U,10U, 12U (50/70), 13U and 14/15U Wood Bat (2 15yr olds per team) /strong>. Each team will be guarantee 4 games over the weekend with Championship games being played on Monday.
Each team will receive a dozen logo baseballs from the Sandlot for the Tourney, we will use Certified Umpires from Central Jersey.
Middletown Little League Complex (Bodman Park), Croyden Hall, Mater Dei HS are one of the nicest baseball facilities in Monmouth County.
The best thing thou is that the proceeds will go to the Campbell Scholarship Fund. This fund was set up in reconginition of John and Nancy Campbell who served on Middletown Youth Athletics for over 35 years before their passing a few years ago. The Scholarship is given to 2 High School students for college and some proceeds will go towards the continuing upgrade of the Baseball Complexes.
There will be concessions at each venue. There will also be T-Shirts to purchase at The Tourney.
